HONG KONG – New Frontier Health, a New Frontier Group company, announced today that it has acquired a medical facility from a China Resources Group for ¥1.12 billion.
The deal includes the full ownership of the Shenzhen Sanjiu Company Limited, as well as the associated land and building. New Frontier Health is aiming to build a premium international hospital designed to serve people across the Greater Bay Area with leading doctors from Hong Kong and around the world. The project is expected to be completed in 2021.
New Frontier Health has signed a purchase agreement with the China Resources Sanjiu Company Limited to build a general hospital on a 64,000-sq-m of land. The land is located in a premium residential environment, with good access to transportation hubs and world-class business facilities. The new hospital is estimated to cost ¥3 billion.
The new hospital will open in Q1 2021. The group is excited about developing an advanced medical facility, and combining it with top administrative and clinical teams to serve the growing population in the Greater Bay region.
Unimed and YD Care, two key brands under New Frontier Health, have also signed with over 300 authoritative medical experts in various fields, covering 34 clinical disciplines, both companies will work together closely to leverage the synergies and refer patients to the new hospital for better healthcare offerings upon completion of the remaining construction phases.
Unimed, a key Doctor’s group under New Frontier health is ready to deploy over 300 of the region’s top medical doctors, across 34 specialties to support the development of the hospital. Furthermore, YDCare will provide in-home post-acute care services.
