Care Alliance (a subsidiary of New Frontier Health) has acquired a controlling stake at Chengdu Donghong Geriatric Hospital, a 400 bed AA healthcare facility in downtown Chengdu.

The hospital is currently providing professional medical care and nursing services for geriatric patients, disabled and assisted living elderlies. It is committed to elderly health and rehabilitation care, training of elderly service professionals and study of elderly health issues.

Care Alliance plans to upgrade the facility into a 1,350 bed facility by end of 2020.
